Macro Monday - Lights!

Macro Monday - There is something peaceful that I love about sitting in a dark, quiet room with only the christmas lights on. I love this time of year!

Smiles and More!

The C. Family was a joy to have over and take a few pictures.
I love the surprises you get from children photos, never sure of what they will let you capture...
...lucky for mom we did get a few smiles.

All For A Great Cause....

Saturday I was able to attend the Toys for Tots Drive held at Magical Moon Toys.
The kids who came had a ton of fun taking pictures with their favorite Star Wars Characters
from the 501 legion here in Cache Valley all while helping with a great charity.

Macro Monday...Furry little creature!

Moths are not as beautiful to photograph as a butterfly, but up close
they are pretty interesting. This hummingbird moth reminds me of
some furry gremlin creature that could star in a new movie.

Macro Monday - Sunflowers!

At the end of the last school year my 1st grader brought home a sunflower seed. Every day she would water it, set it by the window, and watch it grow. It was a strong little plant...after being carried around the house one day the stem snapped....wrapping it in a bandaid I thought it would not live much longer. But it proved me wrong. Days went by and it continued to grow...eventually we planted it outside. And throughout the summer she took care of it....she was so excited when it started to flower. Here is her little sunflower plant.
