Macro Monday - Sunflowers!

At the end of the last school year my 1st grader brought home a sunflower seed. Every day she would water it, set it by the window, and watch it grow. It was a strong little plant...after being carried around the house one day the stem snapped....wrapping it in a bandaid I thought it would not live much longer. But it proved me wrong. Days went by and it continued to grow...eventually we planted it outside. And throughout the summer she took care of it....she was so excited when it started to flower. Here is her little sunflower plant.

It's That Time of Year Again....School Pictures!

I had the opportunity the other week to take the Grace Baptist Church Academy School Pictures. What a Fun Bunch of Kids!

Macro Monday - Nasty Litter

Here is another photo from our Photo Walk. It's amazing the interesting objects you can find to take pictures of if you look hard enough. Litter is one of those...however nasty it may be.

Macro Monday

This was taken this weekend on the 4th Annual Worldwide Photowalk. More photos to come of the day. I liked how it appears like a bunch of smaller flowers inside of the large yellow flower.
