Winter Steam Festival

The Winter Steam Festival over at Golden Spike was held this week. Here are a few photos I've
taken. I had imagined a thin layer of snow covering the ground and pretty blue skies...
instead everything was grey. It's a good thing I like black and white photos.

The 119 is a fully operational replica of the Union Pacific’s locomotive
that was present during the driving of the golden spike on May 10, 1869.

The handcar....looks kinda easy to use....as long as your not going up hill, right?

The Speeder....also know as the track maintenance car.
