Bike Race

So yesterday I loaded my kids up half asleep and drove over to Bear Lake for their bike race. I have never really watched a bike race and thought it would give me a chance to practice my skills as a sports photographer. It was fun and challenging. I need a lot more practice with my shutter speeds and the bright exposure of Bear Lake, but here are a few pictures. It was fun watching many of the riders wave. And even though they were exhausted they always smiled. I was impressed by the boy in the red outfit. He was the youngest rider I saw going all the way around Bear Lake.
