Not a Wildlife Photographer

Besides needing a massive zoom, I am simply not patient enough to sit for hours on end waiting for a cool action shot with wild animals. Nor do I enjoy waking up early in the morning to head out to catch the animals before they bed down for the day to escape the summer heat to be a good wildlife photographer. But when the opportunity is given I won't hesitate to grab the camera and snap away at nature's beauties. This weekend as we pulled in to camp with my family we saw two owls fly away from a nearby tree. Assuming their nest was nearby the next day we took a short walk to see if they were around. Sure enough they were both there and seemed as interested in us as we were in them. I am amazed at how close they let us get before flying away. Wildlife is always fun to shoot!
