Macro Monday - Pop! Pop! Pop!

Popcorn....is a great snack!
Did you know that a popcorn kernals can jump up to three feet in the air?
As a child I loved using the air popper to pop popcorn and coat it with a yummy layer of white chocolate.
In our house now you will often find kettle corn, my families favorite along with a good movie.

Here are a couple fun facts I found at http://www.popcorn.org/.
- Americans consume some 16 billion quarts of this whole grain, good-for-you treat. That’s 52 quarts per man, woman, and child.
- Most popcorn comes in two basic shapes when it's popped: snowflake and mushroom. Snowflake is used in movie theaters and ballparks because it looks and pops bigger. Mushroom is used for candy confections because it doesn't crumble.
